Webflow changed both its pricing and plan structure in 2026. Here, we look at what Norwegian and Danish companies actually need – and which add-ons can make the solution more expensive than the base price.
In May 2026, Webflow made one of the biggest changes to its plan structure in years. The former CMS and Business plans are being merged into one new Premium plan, Basic is becoming more expensive, and Webflow has simultaneously introduced a separate credit system for AI features.
For Norwegian and Danish companies, this makes choosing a plan both simpler and a bit more complicated.
The actual choice between standard Site Plans is simpler than before. However, the base price does not necessarily reflect what the website will actually cost once you add language support, analytics, additional users, or extra capacity.
For most standard business websites, the choice is now between two paid Site Plans:
Basic – $15 per month when billed annually
For simple websites without a CMS. The plan includes a custom domain, up to 300 static pages, 10 GB of bandwidth, and unlimited form submissions.
Premium – $25 per month when billed annually
For websites that use a CMS or have larger content needs. Premium includes, among other things, Webflow CMS, up to 20,000 CMS items, and 40 CMS Collections.
If you pay monthly instead, the price as of August 2026 is $25 for Basic and $39 for Premium. Webflow lists prices in US dollars, and any applicable taxes are added at checkout.
For many Norwegian and Danish companies, Premium will therefore be the natural choice if the website features a blog, articles, case studies, staff profiles, services, locations, or other types of content that need to be managed through a CMS.
Previously, many had to choose between CMS and Business. That distinction is now disappearing.
The old CMS plan had a limit of 2,000 CMS items, among other things. With Premium, this is increased to 20,000, while the number of CMS Collections increases from 20 to 40. Existing CMS customers will be moved to Premium when the new pricing takes effect for their subscription.
For former Business customers, the plan price is actually decreasing: from $39 to $25 per month when billed annually. At the same time, the included bandwidth is reduced from 100 GB to 50 GB. If your website has high traffic or large files, there may be additional costs for bandwidth.
This means that a "new plan" does not automatically mean "more expensive." The impact of the change depends on your current subscription and actual usage.
For new Site Plans, the new prices took effect on May 13, 2026.
For most existing websites, the change applies at the next renewal or other billable change on or after June 29, 2026.
However, there is an important exception for websites located in Freelancer or Agency Workspaces, as well as certain legacy subscriptions. For these, the transition date is November 16, 2026.
If an agency set up and manages your Webflow site, you might still see the old plan for a while.
This is perhaps the most common source of confusion regarding Webflow pricing.
A Site Plan pays for the website itself – including hosting, a custom domain, CMS, and capacity.
A Workspace Plan is about how you and your team work in Webflow.
All Webflow sites reside in a Workspace, and a free Starter Workspace is sufficient for many businesses. Paid Workspace plans primarily provide more capacity for staging, collaboration, permissions, and development.
For internal teams, the annual billing prices are:
It is therefore entirely possible to have a premium website for $25 per month without paying an extra $49 for a Growth Workspace if your business doesn't need those features.
For a simple business website with a homepage, services, about us, and contact page, Basic may be sufficient.
However, as soon as the website needs to feature content that is published regularly, we would normally look towards Premium.
This applies to, for example:
CMS makes it possible to structure these content types once and then publish new pages without having to build each page manually.
For a B2B company that intends to use its website actively in marketing, Premium will therefore often be the most relevant starting point.
You also need to account for Webflow Localize.
Localize Essential starts at $9 per month, based on the number of additional locales, while Advanced starts at $29 per month. Essential includes localization of static pages, CMS, and SEO, among other features. Advanced adds localized URLs, assets, and automatic visitor routing.
This is particularly relevant for Nordic businesses.
A company planning to have Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish versions of their website should therefore not just compare the base price of $25 with other website platforms. The language structure can account for a significant portion of the total Webflow cost.
It is also worth noting that Webflow states that Localize does not support features in Webflow Ecommerce Site Plans.
Webflow Analyze is also not included in Basic or Premium.
Analyze starts at $9 per month, depending on the number of sessions on the site. The solution tracks page views, visitors, and clicks, among other metrics, and displays the information directly within Webflow.
This does not necessarily mean that everyone needs Analyze. Many companies will continue to use GA4 or other analytics tools.
However, if you want Webflow's own integrated analytics, this must be considered an add-on to the Site Plan.
In May 2026, Webflow introduced a credit system for Webflow AI.
AI credits are tied to the Workspace plan. Starter includes 200 credits per month, Core 300, and Growth 400. If your company needs more, Webflow offers, among other things, 2,000 extra credits for $20 per month with annual billing. Credit limits began to be enforced on June 29, 2026.
For companies that only use AI features sporadically, this may not have a significant impact. However, if AI becomes a regular part of your workflow for content production, SEO, or development, this cost should also be included in your assessment.
Webflow also launched Team in 2026.
However, this is not a natural upgrade for a typical small or medium-sized business. The price starts at $2,500 per month with an annual contract. In return, it bundles the website, Workspace, ten users, Localize, and more advanced features for publishing workflows, AEO, security, and governance.
Team is primarily aimed at larger marketing organizations that have outgrown Webflow's standard self-service plans but do not require a full Enterprise agreement.
For most Norwegian and Danish SMEs, Basic or Premium remain far more relevant.
For a typical Nordic business website, the calculation might look something like this:
Simple website without CMS:
Basic from $15/mo.
Business website with blog, case studies, and CMS:
Premium from $25/mo.
Premium + additional languages:
From $25/mo + Localize.
Premium + Webflow Analyze:
From $34/mo.
Costs may increase further with additional languages, extra bandwidth, Workspace features, AI credits, and other add-ons. Prices are in USD and may therefore fluctuate when measured in Norwegian or Danish kroner.
For most companies, the question shouldn't be "which Webflow plan is the cheapest?".
The most important factor is how the website will be used over the coming years.
A simple website without ongoing content updates will do just fine with Basic. If the website is to be used actively for SEO, content marketing, case studies, and new landing pages, Premium will usually be a much better starting point.
And for companies operating across Norway, Denmark, and Sweden, language and localization should be part of the cost calculation even before the website is built.
